Kai Hoy Cherry / แแแแแแแแโan exhibition where the artist wants to invite everyone to explore Kai Hoy Cherry (Golden Apple snail eggs) from their own perspective. What is this? Why did it come to live around the water source in the heart of Khon Kaen city? Chandy went to explore the area around Khon Kaen; communities affected by the development; the areas that are covered with pollution from mountains of garbage. The artist then contemplates the alien species of water hyacinth and Kai Hoy Cherry (Golden Apple snail eggs) and waste metamorphoses, their
invasive nature, and the disturbing development of their proliferation, which threatens the delicate balance of biodiversity. Similar to the echo of struggles and situations in Cambodia, where economic concession areas demand reclamation for grand developments.
