Khon [Kaen] Temporary City This exhibition is a collaboration between Kultx Collaborative Space, Salayanion, Localicious and kommune der 305 This exhibition aims to understand the area and community of the old city of Khon Kaen. Bueng Kaen Nakhon area [Khum Wat Tad community (South) Khum Wat Klang Community (Center) Khum Wat Nong Waeng Community (North)] and invites you to observe and question changes in the physical environment, including the way of life in the context of modern urban society. And especially Khon Kaen as an important economic city of Isan and Thailand from the survey of the area and the old city community. Initially, it was found that the local architecture was unique. And at the same time, some buildings have changed according to the development of the city. There are also new architectural styles. that have arisen in the recent period such as buildings for rent, dormitories, apartments, condominiums, guesthouses, hotels that are gradually popping up continuously. Including various facilities and services that followed To serve both old people and new people in the area. Including groups of people passing by, such as shops, restaurants, eating and drinking establishments, convenience stores, coffee shops, dessert shops, or even starting to have galleries. Various art exhibition spaces have arisen.
This exhibition is therefore interested in the form of architecture for short-term, temporary living and aims to present various dimensions that are related and interconnected at many levels, which are related to the nature of activities and temporary living/sheltering/sleeping.
