The exhibition explores the intersection of oral history, and archival practices through the medium of paper–an enduring symbol of documentation and memory. It highlights often-overlooked personal narratives that challenge mainstream historical accounts. Through fragmented yet poignant works, the artists engage with themes of geographical dislocation, the search for belonging, and the lasting impact of historical events on both individual and collective identities. From family archives and surreal landscapes to personal objects and photographic installations, each work offers a unique perspective on how displaced communities navigate the tensions between past legacies and present realities.
