ONE TRIBE

Period 16 February – 18 May 2024

ONE TRIBE By KultX Collaborative with The Lost Jigsaw Sรฎn dฤd? Or Thai-style barbeque? Is it the same as Isan Izakaya? Or can it be called Genghis Khan? And what about Bulgogi? Or else, from what it has mentioned, is there a collective identity for people who live in ASEAN? The suspicions that are yet to be solved: will they have answers for all wonders, or will they be even more perplexed in the exhibition in the name of ONE TRIBE? Two collectives with different nations, KultX Collaborative, Khon Kaen, and The Lost JigSaw, Laos, gather as one by using Sรฎn dฤd, or Thai-style barbeque, to symbolize the resemblance of residents who live near the Mekong River. One tribe is a word that not only states happiness but also reflects what has affected the population and all lives, even though the resources of the affection are different. Sรฎn dฤd can be a cuisine that eases suffering for a while, along with the conversation around the table, and served with juicy beef dipping sweet and juicy sauce; this can be the most accurate definition that KultX Collaborative and The Lost JigSaw would love to describe the exhibition: ONE TRIBE.
